Meditation (#28)

There is a lot of chaos in this world. The chaos becomes a part of me, cos I live in this world and like being connected to everything around. It's easy for a person like me to be disturbed by the smallest of things which goes wrong  ( bad health of a co-worker). I get mentally and emotionally affected. If it bothers me a lot, then I get physically affected too ( A story of a veteran's life after being deployed). One such incident , which affected me a lot was the gruesome rape of s girl in a moving bus in my country. It disturbed me to the extent of tears, fears, nightmares and borderline depression although I live in a different country.

In such moments, I am grateful to have discovered meditation, cos it helps me regain peace and faith. I discovered meditation 10 years ago. I became a believer in the first few weeks and it has been a part of my life since then. I am so glad that I discovered meditation and I can meditate. I believe it helps me be a little more in control of my emotions and feelings.

It makes me believe, no matter how harsh the sea is , it will calm down,
it makes me believe, that there is more good in the world than evil and
above all it makes me believe that there is someone who is constantly looking out for me..

I am happy for the peace within me.
